Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our Homeowners Property Claims team. No prior claims experience is required! Through comprehensive training, coaching, and hands-on development, you will build the skills needed to investigate and adjust homeowners’ property claims while supporting customers through the claims process. In this role, you will gather loss information, coordinate vendors and services, assist with claim handling decisions, and develop expertise in coverage review, damage assessment, estimating, negotiation, and claim resolution.

- No prior claims or insurance experience required; comprehensive training provided.
- Ability to obtain licenses in applicable states and complete CE credit/classes where necessary

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business systems.
- Associate Degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Serve as the first point of contact for policyholders reporting homeowners’ first-party property losses.
- Gather and document accurate loss information through detailed customer interviews and enter claim details into company claim systems.
- Make initial claim routing and escalation decisions based on claim severity, property damage, or potential injury exposure.
- Assign and coordinate emergency service, mitigation, inspection, and restoration vendors to assist with loss recovery efforts.
- Investigate and adjust low-severity homeowners property claims under established guidelines and leadership oversight.
- Conduct basic coverage reviews and damage assessments to support accurate claim resolution.
- Prepare repair estimates and explain repair scope, claim decisions, and settlement outcomes to customers.
- Develop effective negotiation skills through interactions with contractors, vendors, and business partners.
- Learn residential construction methods, repair processes, and estimating fundamentals to support claim investigations.
- Provide reassurance and guidance by maintaining proactive communication with policyholders, contractors, and vendors throughout the claim lifecycle.
- Identify potential subrogation opportunities and liability exposures.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by setting clear expectations and providing timely claim updates.
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset during every interaction.
- Continuously develop technical claim handling knowledge and progress toward increased claim ownership and decision-making responsibilities
