Working within the Office of Language Access, the Professional Development Manager for Interpreter Services provides management and supervisory oversight of various professional development, continuing education, recruitment, court interpreter certification, and training programs for staff and per-diem interpreters.

The Manager will be responsible for recruiting qualified court interpreters and translators, developing and administering court interpreter certification and training programs, and supporting the professional development of staff and per-diem interpreters. While not all training programs will be delivered directly by the Manager, a significant role in leading such programs is expected. The Manager will also implement a comprehensive training strategy to enhance interpreter services.
