Fund Formation Attorney

Overview

Cooley LLP has an opportunity available for an attorney with two or more years of private investment fund formation experience. Candidates must have experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds and will have completed fund formation transactions, sponsor-level transactions (i.e., involving the general partner and management company entities) and secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests. Ideal candidates will have worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $235,000+. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
