Commercial Real Estate Attorney; Associate

Overview

Robinson+Cole, a Vault “Top Ranked” Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with a minimum of four to six years of experience to join its active Commercial Real Estate + Development Practice Group based in our Boston or Hartford, CT office.

The selected candidate will join a fast‑paced team and take on complex work with local and national developers who are leaders in their field. Candidates should be interested in working in the area of affordable housing development.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of four years of experience representing developers and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, public and private financing, and zoning; strong real‑estate fundamentals, including experience with title and survey review, drafting acquisition documents, and review of a variety of loan documents; and top academic and transactional credentials, including excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.

Please note that all R+C attorneys must be admitted in the state of their primary office location. Prior law firm experience is also required for this position.

Massachusetts applicants:
Effective January 2026, the target base salary range for this position is $202,500 to $217,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's prior experience, class year, skills, qualifications, and office location.
