Salary Range: $120K-$140K | Non-exempt | Bonus Eligible

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading Boston law firm, is seeking a mid-level Transaction Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its commercial lending, real estate, affordable housing, and loan workout practice

• Licensed Massachusetts attorney with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Background in commercial lending, real estate finance, affordable housing, or loan workouts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business development
• Collaborative team player eager to contribute to firm growth

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents for complex transactions
• Conduct and review due diligence and title insurance policies for real estate collateraln
• Ensure compliance with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) for security interests
• Negotiate Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements
• Draft and review zoning and land use opinions
• Prepare loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and settlement documentation
• Work on intercreditor agreements, participation agreements, and syndication agreements
