Associate Attorney (Civil Litigation) – Hybrid. Work in a range of practice areas including General Liability, Premises Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense/Long‑Term Care Facilities, Products Liability, Professional Liability, Commercial & Business Litigation, Construction, Trucking and Vehicular Liability Defense, Employment, and more. We seek candidates with at least one year of civil litigation experience, eager to tackle complex legal challenges.

Your role is dynamic and engaging, offering a perfect mix of independent responsibilities and collaborative teamwork. You will manage your own caseload from inception to resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines. Your days will be enriched by preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials, granting you invaluable courtroom experience.

Collaboration is crucial; you’ll engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies. Clear and regular communication with clients will be essential, as you provide them with updates and interim status reports on their cases.

Additionally, you’ll conduct in-depth legal research, preparing memoranda to bolster case strategies, while working alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.

• A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.
• At least one (1) year of prior civil litigation experience, including experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts.
• A self‑starter with strong advocacy skills, proficient in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, performing legal research, and responding to discovery requests.
• Experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions; attention to detail and effective communication are key attributes for success.

Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 per year
