Job Description
Our Boston office is seeking Patent Agents with a background in biology to draft and prosecute patent applications.
A science background in vaccines, mRNA technology, biochemistry, peptide chemistry, gene therapy, immunology, or antibodies is required. Advanced degrees are strongly preferred.
USPTO registration number is required
, and previous work experience as a registered Patent Agent is preferred.
Responsibilities of Patent Agents include:
- Preparing patent applications for filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office
- Evaluating the underlying technology of inventions
- Opinion writing
- Client counseling
- Litigation support
- Providing technical assistance on projects
