ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant EHS Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental health & safety services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements on their assigned Project. The Assistant EHS Manager shall be project based and oversees responsibilities of their assigned Project as related to environmental health & safety services and has direct interaction with EH&S Staff, Superintendents, Project Manager, Project Executive and Area / Regional EHS Director.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent or relevant safety experience
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Power Point
- 3+ years of experience in a role assigned to the identification of safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls
- 3+ years of experience in a safety role that required communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment
- Life Science experience preferred
