Those in mergers and acquisition tax at PwC will focus on providing tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. Your work will involve analysing the tax implications of such transactions, developing tax structures, and assisting clients in navigating complex tax regulations to optimise tax outcomes.

The Opportunity

As part of the Merger and Acquisition Tax team you are going to provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Manager you are going to supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement work streams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top‑quality deliverables. Additionally, you are going to be responsible for leveraging team strengths, managing performance to deliver on client expectations, and embracing technology and innovation to enhance your delivery.

What You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 4 years of experience.
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

  • Proficiency in tax consulting and planning.
  • Proficiency in transaction structuring and corporate restructuring.
