Practice OverviewThe Insurance and Asset Management Practice provides leading Life Insurers, Property & Casualty Insurers, and Asset Managers with strategic insights to succeed in a rapidly evolving regulatory and capital markets environment. Our work spans strategy development, financial effectiveness, product design, operational excellence, underwriting, pricing, and distribution.
Recent impacts include:
- Establishing a Green Field insurer from strategy formulation to implementation
- Designing a multi‑year corporate strategy for an Independent Broker Dealer
- Building a generative AI powered contract review tool for insurance contracts
As a professional member, your initial responsibilities include:
- Managing the execution of individual project work streams or projects – planning, coordination, hypothesis development, data collection, model creation, analysis, research, insight surfacing.
- Synthesizing findings into written presentations, reviewing with clients, leading client readouts.
- Supporting our Partner group through accurate and high‑quality execution.
- Managing and developing junior consultants – task allocation, deliverable review, constructive feedback, mentoring.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.
- Experience with insurance‑related topics (organizational design, strategic planning, product design, distribution, underwriting, risk & capital management, pensions, reinsurance, etc.).
- Track record of leading teams and delivering against tight deadlines.
- Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a reputable academic program.
- Willingness to travel.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $190,000 – $240,000, plus performance‑based incentives. The base pay is determined by experience, skills, certifications, etc.
