Reportingtothe Chief Operating Officer ,theHSSEManagerisresponsibleforleadingthedevelopmentandcontinuousimprovementoftheHSS&Emanagementprogram.

Therolewillprovidesubjectmatterexpertiseandhands-onsupportacrossdevelopment,constructionandoperatingassets,ensuringcompliancewithfederal,state,localregulationsandthe

Brookfield

RenewableHSSEprogram.

Therolewillinvolveregulartravellingtodevelopment,construction&operationalsitesacrossthe

United

States,monthly.

Thekeyresponsibilitiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto,the following:

• Develop,implementandmaintainaportfoliowideHSSEmanagementsystem,including policies,procedures&trainingprogramsincompliancewithfederal,state,local legislation,regulations,industrybestpracticeandBrookfieldstandards
• Ensureongoingcompliancewith
  
  BrookfieldHSS&Estandardsacrossallassetlifecyclestages.
• Leademergencypreparedness,responseandcrisismanagement.incl.businesscontinuityprograms

• DevelopanddeliverHSSEtrainingprogramsforemployees&contractorsinlinewithregulatory&Brookfield requirements.
• Champion&promoteastrongHSSEcultureofaccountabilityacrossalllevelsoftheorganization

• ReviewandassesscontractorHSSEprogramsandprocedures

• EnsureHSSEduediligenceand Asset Condition Assessments (facilityriskassessments) arecompletedfornewlyacquiredassets,confirmingalignmentwith

• LeadHSSEauditsandassessments,includingbutnotlimitedtointernalaudits,contractor audits,regulatoryinspectionsandexternalorlenderdrivenreviews
• Usingthedata&trendstodrivecontinuousimprovement&strategyacrosstheportfolio

• 5-8yearsof
  
  Health,Safety,Security&Environment(HSS&E) experience,ideallywithinafast-paced,dynamic,andasset-intensiverenewableenergyenvironment
• Experience developing&implementingHSSEManagement Systemsalignedwithcorporatestandardsandindustrybestpractice
• Demonstratedexperienceworkingacrossthefullassetlifecycle:development,construction,commissioning,andoperationsofrenewableassets,ideallySolarPV
• ProfessionalHSSEqualificationspreferrede.g.NEBOSH,CSP,ASP,IOSH,or equivalent
• DemonstratedunderstandingofHSSEmanagementsystems,handsonexperienceleadingincidentinvestigations,audits,and managing
  
  Corrective and Preventive Action Plans (CAPAs).
• StrongworkingknowledgeofapplicableUSregulationsandstandards(e.g.,OSHA,EPA,NERC,NFPA,orotherrelevantnationalframeworks),withtheabilitytointerpretandapplytheminoperationalsettings;
• ProvencapabilityinleadingHSS&Eprogramsacrossthefullasstlifecycle,including development,construction,operationsofrenewableassets;
• ExperienceleadingHSSEauditsandinspections,includinginternalaudits,contractor audits,andregulatoryreviews
• Demonstratedabilitytoworkindependentlyasasubjectmatterexpert,supportingteamsanddrivingHSS&Einitiativeswithminimaloversight;
• Stronginterpersonalandcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytocoach,influence,andsupportstakeholdersacrossvariouslevelsoftheorganization;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools ,withstrongwrittencommunicationskillsandtheabilitytoprepareclear,concisereportsandassessmentsformanagement.

Salary:$120,000to $150,000,bonus eligible.
