Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Healthcare Architect/Project Manager to their Boston team!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Principal to evaluate project requirements and help negotiate acceptable owner-architect agreement (including fee/time schedule)
• Complete project son schedule and within budget
• Use healthcare terminology to maximize performance when designing healthcare projects
• Understand/manage design with regards to infection control maintenance, building systems, security,technology and medical equipment specific to a healthcare setting
• Monitor quality of construction documents
• Develop discipline cost and work-hour budgets
• Monitor project costs and completion status against budget schedules/timelines
• Coordinate review/evaluation of contractor bids
• Provide daily leadership in absence or as delegated by the Principal
• Assist with marketing (developing proposals/client interviews)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’sor master’s degree in architecture or related field
• Licensed professional preferred
• 8+years of project management experience honed on increasingly more complex projects
• Demonstrated skill in working on multiple smaller-sized to mid-sized, challenging projects simultaneously
• Abilityto communicate clearly with team members and clients and lead discussion son project budgets and management of project delivery
• Proficient with industry accepted software and Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Project Management software (Vision, Microsoft Project) preferred
