Shipper - Receiver

The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all products that are received and/or shipped out during the assigned shift. They will work in three main functions: receiving, inventory control and cooler operations and shipping, following company guidelines for quality control, safety, and standard operating procedures.

• Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product.
• Obtain and process product orders.
• Receive, register, and distribute packages and letters within the company.
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items.
• Assist with large shipments and planning of the logistics to ensure sufficient storage space for incoming items.
• Keep files of goods shipped and received.
• Ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location, on time.
• Assist with ensuring that quality, quantity, and customer satisfaction are met.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of coolers and warehouse orders.
• Tracking and reporting to leadership: back-orders short-list items, and unfulfilled orders.

• 1+ years experience in a shipping or receiving position.
• 1+ years experience operating forklifts.
• Experience in food manufacturing; seafood or meat processing is a plus.
• Fork-lift certification required.
• Able to operate company inventory equipment (such as scan guns). Required.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to provide support to department managers to achieve goals.
• Able to maintain an environment that drives performance and a safe workplace.

• Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
• Work up to a 10-hour workday: standing/walking most of the day.
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
