The Part-Time Print Center Operator will operate apparatus such as digital production presses, wide-format printers, bindery equipment and perform related work as required.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Reproduction Services Supervisor this person will be responsible for:
- Operates monochrome and color digital presses.
- Operates Roland wide format printer and plot cutter.
- Operates bindery equipment.
- Produces printed materials such as brochures, forms, newsletters and exhibits using Flux or Fiery, Roland Versa Works, and Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator) and Sign Lab.
- Operates envelope press and Ryobi 3302H two color press.
- Ability to operate monochrome and color digital production press.
- Ability to operate wide-format printer with plot cutting.
- Ability to operate digital envelope press.
- Ability to operate various bindery equipment.
- Have knowledge of Flux/Fiery, Versa Works, Adobe products (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator), and Sign Lab.
- Offset Printing Press knowledge preferred.
Salary: $27.00 an hour.
This is a part-time non-benefitted position for 18.5 hours per week. All work will be in-person at the Bunker Hill Community College Charlestown Campus.
