Compensation: $60,000 - $63,000 / year
DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and maintaining the public perception of our organization. You will assist in implementing effective communication strategies that enhance our brand image, foster positive relationships with media outlets, and engage various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and distribute press releases and other media communications
- Cultivate relationships with journalists and media outlets
- Assist in planning and coordinating public events and appearances
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and public sentiment
- Develop and maintain a media contact list
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on messaging
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in a public relations or communications role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of media dynamics and social media trends
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
