We are seeking a Director of Marketing & Business Development to lead efforts as we continue to grow and evolve. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Leadership to identify new opportunities, provide recommendations to develop high-level business development strategies, understand market trends and client needs, and translate those insights into actionable goals that drive growth for the firm.

At the same time, you will oversee the firm’s integrated marketing strategy and execution—from proposals, digital campaigns, thought leadership, communications, and work with our in-house team to with our brand development—ensuring that our marketing efforts effectively support our business development objectives.

As a strategic and agile problem solver, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are adept at interpreting the needs of multiple stakeholders. You are equally comfortable developing business strategies, analyzing market and business development data, building relationships and networks, and leading the creation of compelling narratives and dynamic visuals that communicate Arrowstreet’s brand and work.

Business Development
Participate in and facilitate brainstorming and strategy sessions for business development meetings, shaping outreach initiatives with the leadership team. Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and client meetings. Coach, guide, and provide feedback to up and coming firm leaders to actively participate in business development activities and networking.

Marketing Strategies & Execution
Develop and execute creative, targeted marketing campaigns across multiple channels—leveraging tools such as geofencing, targeted advertising, and other advanced methods to drive brand awareness and generate leads. Coordinate award submissions, speaking opportunities, publications, press opportunities, and photoshoots.

Project & Resource Management
Partner closely with Senior Leadership to ensure that marketing strategies align with business goals and growth objectives for each marketing sector. Build strong working relationships between marketing, project teams, and other internal disciplines.

Team Mentorship
Lead, Mentor, and develop marketing team; establish priorities, workflows, performance expectations, and professional development opportunities for the marketing team.

Content Creation & Brand Standards
Write and, through collaboration with our Experience Design Studio, design marketing materials that reflect our brand story; maintain our marketing collateral library, ensuring all materials are accurate, up to date, and on-brand.

AI-Driven Insights & Innovation
Identify and leverage AI-driven tools and platforms (e.g., generative AI for content creation, predictive analytics for lead generation, marketing automation tools) to optimize marketing processes and uncover new opportunities for business development.

Data-Driven Insights
Track and report on campaign metrics and ROI, presenting findings to leadership team; recommend new tactics and tools based on data analysis.

Experience
Minimum of 7-10 years in a marketing role, with proven supervisory or leadership experience in an A/E/C or professional services environment.
