Organizational Overview
The Emerald Necklace Conservancy is a private, non‑profit stewardship organization established in 1997 with the primary mission of restoring, improving, and protecting the historic Emerald Necklace park system in Boston and Brookline. As a dedicated guardian of landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted’s late 19th‑century vision, the Conservancy serves as the critical link between public agencies and the private sector, ensuring that these 1,100 acres of green space thrive for modern urban residents.
The Conservancy is also dedicated to stewarding the 1,100‑acre linear Emerald Necklace park system in Boston and Brookline, connecting over 15 diverse neighborhoods. Our vision is a thriving Emerald Necklace where people and parks care for each other, made possible through thoughtful park care, people‑driven programming and inclusive policy work.
The Emerald Necklace Conservancy seeks a motivated and relationship‑focused Corporate Giving and Volunteer Partnerships Officer to build the Conservancy’s corporate giving program, manage corporate volunteer programs, and steward corporate relationships to build meaningful partnerships. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Corporate Giving Officer will partner with the CDO and Field Operations team to implement a corporate engagement strategy, manage a portfolio of corporate partners, and manage the corporate volunteer programs.
This role involves close collaboration with the Field Operations team to execute impactful volunteer programs for the Conservancy’s corporate partners.
