Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuroscience ICU position in Massachusetts with a strong background in neuro critical care and an active MA RN license.

Responsibilities

* Work in the Neuro ICU caring for critically ill adults with neurological diagnoses such as neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, and spinal cord injury with complex comorbidities

* Unit has 24 beds with a typical census of 22

* Assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, day/night rotating shifts

* Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday

* Clinician to patient ratio is 1:2

* Epic charting system is used and prior experience is preferred

* Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with complex neuro critical conditions

* Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital

* Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided at time of assignment

* No validated parking is available; public transportation or paid public parking is necessary

* Timekeeping is managed using UKG/Kronos

Requirements

* Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at the time of consideration

* Current BLS certification through AHA is required

* 2+ years of recent strong critical care experience is required

* 1+ year of travel nursing experience is required

* 2+ years of neuro critical care experience is preferred

* No pending licensure accepted

* Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions allowed
