Your Role:As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical department, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Utilizing our state-of-the-art patient care model, you will be supported by a nurturing nursing organization and empowered to provide the highest standard of care your patients deserve.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients.
- Collaborate effectively with various healthcare team members, patients, and families.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities.
- Manage and update patient records accurately.
- Interpret and enter computerized data/information.
- Uphold the policies and guidelines of our nursing organization.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects as required.
- Current Massachusetts RN License.
- 1+ years of RN experience (preferred).
- BLS Certification, with ACLS required in specific units.
- Nursing degree (Diploma, ASN, or BSN - with BSN preferred or obtained within 4 years).
- Specialty Experience: Med-Surg experience preferred, but experience in specialties such as orthopedics, oncology, geriatrics, post-op, renal, etc., is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Fluency in another language is a plus.
