Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Medical ICU position, requiring a MA RN license and 2 years of pediatric ICU experience with ventilator management.

• Work in a Pediatric Medical ICU within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients requiring ventilator management and inotropy
• Shifts are 3x12 hours, including both day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) rotations with potential for straight nights
• 50/50 day and night rotation required, with every other weekend coverage
• Permanent day or night shifts may be considered with increased weekend requirements
• No on-call requirement
• Floating may be required to CICU, MSICU, and NICU units as needed
• Magnet-designated, trauma level I, Level III/IV NICU environment
• Uses Epic for charting;
  Epic experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Scrubs in any solid color are permitted
• Night shift parking is free; day and evening parking available at discounted rates with shuttle
• Every other weekend shifts are required
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted, with a different rate structure

• Current and active MA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric ICU experience, including ventilator management and inotropy
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
