Travel RN - Interventional Radiology​/IR - Interventional Radiology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Massachusetts requiring Neuro IR and stroke expertise.

Job Details

• Position based in a hospital Interventional Radiology department,

• Department features 5 procedure rooms handling CT and ultrasound-guided procedures,

• Daily caseload typically includes 12-16 cases with an average patient ratio of 1:1 and up to 6-7 patients per day,

• Work schedule consists of day shifts with a combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts and no set day off,

• On-call required during nights, weekends, and one major holiday per schedule period, with a 30-minute call back time,

• On-call rooms are available if required,

Job Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current BLS and any other required certifications must be active,

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required,

• Must have Neuro IR and stroke nursing experience,

• Proficiency in independently reading and interpreting telemetry strips,

• Ability to pass a telemetry test with a score of 85% or higher on day one,

• Level I Trauma hospital experience required,

• Completion of Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test A or B is required,

• Main responsibilities include supporting Neuro IR and stroke procedures and interpreting telemetry,

• Team handles high-acuity procedures in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma environment,

• Requires two recent professional references, one from a manager level, with one within the last 12 months,

• Orientation and skills testing are part of onboarding,

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,

• Parking information and monthly rates are available upon request,

• On-call and holiday coverage is expected as part of the rotating schedule,
