Position: Certified Nurse Midwife opening in Boston, MA suburb - No labor or deliveries

Health Center is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join their OBGYN team in the Boston, MA area.

Details
  • Play a key role in advancing health equity for women in Boston
  • This role is focused on outpatient prenatal, gynecological, and women’s health care — no labor or deliveries
  • Provide outpatient prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care, including exams, Pap smears, and office procedures
  • Lead Centering Pregnancy group visits for prenatal patients
  • Educate patients on prenatal, postnatal, family planning, and menopause care
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital partners to ensure continuity of care
  • Document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record system
  • Support health center's mission by delivering high-quality, community-based care
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in obstetrics
  • Minimum 2 years of midwifery practice with demonstrated clinical competencies
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Certification by the American College of Nurse Midwives
  • Strong knowledge of maternal/fetal growth, gynecological care, and midwifery practice standards
  • Ability to assess, treat, and educate patients independently while collaborating with a care team
