Overview
Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology in Boston, MA. Start date 11/02/2026. 13-week travel assignment with a weekly pay range of $3,225-$3,431. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 10-hour shifts. Setting: hospital-based Interventional Radiology department.

Travel - Temporary Assignment
- Provide direct patient care to neuro interventional radiology patients, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure recovery, with attention to neuro status and hemodynamics.
- Monitor patients using telemetry, interpret telemetry strips, and respond to alarms; able to read telemetry and pass Telemetry (Tele) testing on day 1 with 85% or better.
- Assist with CT- and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures; support a high-volume workflow (12-16 cases daily) with an average 1:1 patient ratio, while caring for 6-7 patients per day as needed.
- Manage on-call duties as assigned, including nights, weekends, and one major holiday per schedule period; 30-minute call-back time; on-call rooms available if required.
- Maintain procedural safety and sterile technique; administer medications as permitted; collaborate with the IR team and document care in the medical record; respond to emergencies per ACLS protocols.
- Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific licensure as required for practice)
- 2+ years of interventional radiology (IR) experience
- Neuro IR and/or stroke experience required
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; pass Telemetry test on day 1 with 85% or better
- ACLS certification
- Nursing degree ( ADN or BSN ) from an accredited program
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts; guaranteed 40 hours per week; available for on-call nights/weekends/one major holiday per schedule period; ability to respond within 30 minutes
