Manages overall patient care operations, overseeing clinical staff (nurses, therapists, etc.), ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant care delivery, managing budgets, handling patient/family concerns, and developing strategic plans for service improvement, all while aligning with hospital goals and regulations with Joint Commission and CMS. Key duties include staff hiring/training, performance evaluation, quality assurance, and fostering a patient-centered environment. 9 direct reports.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience
-Medical surgical, telemetry and acute care nursing - 3+ years Nurse management experience
- BLS from AHA
- Certification in clinical specialty or nursing administration preferred
