American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with strong phase 1 recovery and pediatric experience for a 13-week assignment requiring ACLS and PALS certification.
Details- PACU setting handling large, complex surgical cases including neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine
- 12-hour AM shifts on a 36-hour Day/Night rotation schedule
- Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays required
- 13-week assignment
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- Pediatric PACU experience required
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
- Must pass a telemetry competency test on day 1 with a score of 84% or better
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for complex surgical patient populations
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
