American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED Boarder RN requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Work in the ED PCS Boarder Program caring for boarded patients in hallways and bays rather than a traditional inpatient setting
- Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover requiring travel to multiple care areas for patients, medications, and supplies
- 36 hours per week on a Day/Night rotating schedule
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Uses Epic for charting
- Care for boarded ED patients across multiple care areas within a high-activity emergency department environment
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility in Boston to qualify for standard travel rate
- Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
- Parking not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
