American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN with an active MA RN license for a 13-week assignment using Epic charting.

• Work in the hospital's Emergency Department
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Epic for electronic charting
• Provides care to acute patients requiring triage and treatment

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
• Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific patient care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Record vital signs and document changes in patient condition
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate
• RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
