Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Boston, MA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Every other weekend

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, interpreting and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support surgical teams during cesarean sections as needed
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per protocol with accurate documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, midwives, and support staff to ensure safe patient outcomes

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience

• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and related documentation systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
