Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Boston, MA | Acute Care

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend

• Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per facility protocols
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, delivery options, and postpartum care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid in the state of Massachusetts or through Compact licensure
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience

• Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center setting
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetric patients and complications
• Electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) certification preferred
