Full Time Client Care Specialist at Veterinary Hospital (40 hours per week)

If you have a passion for customer service and happen to love animals, you may be interested in our full time position with MSPCA-Angell as a Client Care Specialist.Our Client Care Specialist plays an integral role in managing the flow of information between our veterinary staff and clients. As a 24/7 operation, our Client Care Specialists are required to work at least one weekend day.

Specific days and shifts to be negotiated upon hire.

THE POSITION:

The Client Care Specialist (CCS) is a key member of our veterinary hospital team, responsible for providing professional, efficient, and compassionate service to clients and patients. This role involves a range of responsibilities at the front desk, including routine check-ins, scheduling, and discharge procedures, as well as handling sensitive situations at the emergency desk, such as checking in urgent cases and processing end-of-life paperwork.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment. The CCS works closely with medical staff and other team members to ensure smooth and respectful client experiences throughout the hospital. Angell Animal Medical Center provides general and specialty care to dogs, cats, and exotic pets (i.e., birds, reptiles, rabbits).

Qualified applicants will have at least 1 year of customer service experience.

COMPENSATION:

Starting $19-$20/hr

Associates or better.

Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist/Client Service Representative is preferred.
