This role involves biocontainment training and opportunities for continuing education in a high‑acuity environment, performing duties at Bio Safety Levels 2, 3 & 4.

- Provide veterinary research support and technical assistance for laboratory animal husbandry.
- Maintain and monitor BSL2, BSL3, and BSL4 facilities and protocols.
- Assist in animal care, sample collection, and biocontainment operations.
- Support research studies by ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of lab animal experience (RSA, grade 46) with a BS, CVT, or ALAT; preferred qualifications listed under RST and RSS levels.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent for RST and RSS levels.
- BS, CVT, LAT, or LATg credentials preferred for higher-grade positions.
- BSL4 experience or role as a study coordinator is required.
- Strong knowledge of BSL protocols and animal care procedures.
