Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Harvard Medical School Affiliate)
The Fischer Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to study the ubiquitin-proteasome system using structural biology, chemical biology, proteomics, and computational approaches. Research integrates cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, NMR, and mass spectrometry to address mechanistic principles of protein regulation and their role in human diseases, including cancer.
Qualifications- PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, or related field.
- Strong publication record and ability to lead complex projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in at least two of the following:
- Protein expression/purification (insect or mammalian systems)
- Protein biophysics or enzyme kinetics
- Computational/quantitative analysis
- Access to world-class structural biology and proteomics facilities.
- Collaborative environment across Dana-Farber and Harvard Medical School.
- Opportunity to translate basic discoveries into therapeutic strategies.
