The Freed‑Pastor Laboratory at Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative postdoctoral research fellow to join the team.

The Freed‑Pastor lab investigates how pancreatic cancer escapes immune eradication to guide novel therapies for pancreatic cancer patients. The lab employs cutting‑edge technologies (immunopeptidomics, T cell engineering, single‑cell transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, CRISPR technologies) paired with in‑vivo animal model systems and human patient‑derived biospecimens (organoids and T cells).

• Lead independent research projects, report progress and track deliverables
• Work to develop innovative approaches to advance the field of tumor immunology and pancreatic cancer treatment
• Help to train, supervise and mentor staff as needed

• Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or doctoral equivalent in a relevant field (immunology, cancer biology, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated scientific contributions to the field
• Proven ability to solve challenging technical problems
• Clarity of thought in written and oral communication skills

• The candidate should have a strong background in immunology and/or tumor immunology
• Experience with T cell engineering (CAR‑T, TCR‑T) and/or immunopeptidomics is preferred (but not required).

Pay Transparency Statement:
The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications. For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Salary: $72,000.00 - $76,385.00
