We invite applications for a postdoctoral fellow position in the Mathis laboratory in the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School. The research focus of this position is the role of T regulatory cells in brain health and disease. We welcome applications from recent MD or PhD graduates interested in this field. In addition to carrying out a jointly designed research project, the successful candidate will be expected to apply for fellowship funding, contribute to the writing of grants and manuscripts, participate in mentoring of new lab members as appropriate, and otherwise contribute to overall lab operations.
Responsibilities- Carry out a jointly designed research project focused on T regulatory cells and brain health.
- Apply for fellowship funding and contribute to grant writing and manuscript preparation.
- Participate in mentoring of new lab members and contribute to overall lab operations.
- PhD and/or MD with research experience in a field related to basic immunology or neuroimmunology.
- Hands‑on expertise in neuroimmunology research would be a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and to drive collaborations with other labs.
