Role
The Real World Evidence (RWE) Manager supports epidemiologic and observational research to assess disease natural history and real-world outcomes for Vertex's pipeline and portfolio.
Responsibilities- Designing and executing epidemiologic studies.
- Ensuring scientific rigor.
- Managing vendors.
- Supporting internal stakeholders such as Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams.
- Developing research strategies, analyzing relevant data sources, and communicating key findings through publications and presentations.
- PhD (preferred) or MS/MPH in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health outcomes research.
- At least 2 years' experience in observational research within the life sciences industry or relevant academic/government settings.
- Expertise in study design.
- Familiarity with RWE regulatory guidance.
- Interpersonal and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Focus on observational research supporting biopharma pipeline, with emphasis on natural history studies and systematic literature reviews.
- Experience with regulatory considerations in RWE.
- Hybrid or onsite work setup.
- No specific therapeutic area or modality specified.
