The Exercise Psychology Laboratory (Director, Dr. Neha P. Gothe) atthe Institute for Cognitive & Brain
Health is seeking a part-time Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator will support a wide range of research projects focusedon promoting healthy lifestyle interventions across the lifespan.
These include a focus on mind-body interventions of physical activity and nutrition incorporating
mindfulness and yoga and their impact on physiological and psychological health outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications- Experience conducting human subjects research
- Collecting and organizing data, conducting statistical analyses,and coding in computer languages (SPSS, R, etc.)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite and research databases suchas Red Cap.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and dependable.
- Have an ability to work and troubleshoot independently and in ateam environment.
- Knowledge and skills are normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS in a Health-related field) and atleast one year
- experience in a lab environment.
- A master's degree (MA/MS) is desirable but not required.
- A yoga teacher training certification is desirable but not required.
Research activities (60%):
- Composing and modifying review board protocols.
- Developing and posting advertisements (flyers, writing ads) for research participant recruitment.
- Contacting, screening, and scheduling potential research participants.
- Maintaining a secure recruitment database (Red Cap, etc.).
- Conducting research study visits.
- Computer coding tasks and analyses (R, Mat Lab, Python,etc.).
- Literature review and scientific products.
Outreach and education (40%):
- Developing relationships within the greater Boston communit torecruit participants.
- Developing outreach activities and workshops to recruit study participants.
- Explaining complex scientific constructs to relevant audiences.
- Summarizing empirical research papers for the public for onlinepublication (e.g., blog posts
- , newsletters).
- Leveraging social media for the lab projects anddissemination.
- Design and lead group discussion and physical activity classes for participants to build community
