Lead Science Content Creator

We are seeking a Lead Science Content Creator to join a dynamic life sciences company. This position is fully remote and eligible for individuals residing anywhere in the United States. The focus will be on producing scientific content related to preclinical pain research and drug development.

REQUIRED:

neuroscience + pain + grant writing background

Collaborating with researchers, business development professionals, and senior management, you will translate intricate in vitro and in vivo pharmacology data into concise, precise scientific material to support publications, funding efforts, and organizational expansion.

Duties Draft articles for submission to scientific journals

Compose grant applications, technical documents, reviews, and white papers

Analyze and structure preclinical in vivo and in vitro research data Create scientific visuals, tables, abstracts, and supplementary materials

Generate conference materials, posters, presentations, and other scientific communications

Oversee manuscript revisions, collaborate with co-authors, and respond to peer feedback

Requirements

PhD or Master's degree in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, or a related life science discipline

Proven experience in scientific writing and editing within the realm of pain research or pain pharmacology

Capability to decipher complex preclinical datasets and convey results clearly

Background in developing scientific manuscripts and technical reports

Familiarity with in vivo and in vitro pharmacology research

Experience in crafting research grants, such as NIH SBIR/STTR, DoD, or foundation grants

Understanding of FDA drug development pathways, particularly in pain therapeutics

Proficiency with statistical/data analysis tools like Graph Pad Prism, R, SAS, or JMPStrong focus on scientific precision, data accuracy, and attention to detail
