Alcove is a bustling neighborhood restaurant that highlights coastal New England cuisine and an award‑winning beverage program. We are looking for Bar Staff to join our expanding team, including two bartenders, bar stewards, and barbacks.
Responsibilities- Curate the guest experience at the bar and dining area, pairing meals with appropriate beverages.
- Manage bar inventory, replenish kegs, stock wine, spirits, garnishes, and keep the bar fully stocked.
- Perform opening and closing side‑work, including bar cleanup and prep.
- Provide guest interaction and excellent service.
- Train service staff on beverage knowledge (for senior bartenders).
- Support bar operations during peak service.
- For bartenders: minimum 2 years of bartending experience.
- For bar stewards: at least 3 years cumulative service experience as a bartender or lead server.
- For barbacks: ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 100 pounds; experience preferred but not required.
- Full‑time availability for all positions.
Benefits
:
Full‑time employees eligible for benefits after 90 days.

Bartender $15–60/hour;
Barback $15–30/hour
