The Dishwasher & Prep Cook plays a critical support role in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while assisting with food preparation. This position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly, and that prep work is completed accurately and on time to support daily service.

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
• Maintain cleanliness of dish station, sinks, floors, and trash areas
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Take out trash and recycling regularly and keep waste areas clean
• Assist with end‑of‑shift and deep‑cleaning tasks as assigned
• Perform basic food prep such as washing, chopping, slicing, portioning, and labeling ingredients
• Follow prep lists and instructions from kitchen leadership accurately
• Properly store food items according to food safety standards (FIFO)
• Assist with stocking and organizing prep areas, walk‑ins, and dry storage
• Communicate effectively with cooks and kitchen staff
• Be flexible and assist where needed during busy service times
• Arrive on time, ready to work, and maintain a positive, professional attitude
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and attendance standards

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation (training provided)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Prior restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required
