Are you passionate about food and enjoy interacting with people? We’re seeking a friendly and energetic Deli Clerk and Charcuterie Specialist to join our team at The Dirty Italian
. This is a seasonal position that, if it’s a good fit, could extend into the new year.

• Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders which includes making sandwiches, salads, and grabbing items from the prepared food case.
• Preparing and slicing various deli meats and cheeses.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Operating deli equipment safely and efficiently.
• Occasional catering events during the week as well as weekends. Maintain a positive attitude while serving guests for the full event. Typically assigned 2-4 catering jobs per quarter.
• Cashier functions as well as interactions with 3rd party delivery drivers.
• Create beautiful creations for board orders on demand and for catered events.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation throughout the work day.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic food handling knowledge
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Weekend hours need to be filled before weekday hours*
• Outgoing, great communication skills with peers and customers
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions accurately
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Previous experience in a deli, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
