Base pay range: $18.00/hr – $21.00/hr
Responsibilities- Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOP for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
- Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
- Champion On-Shelf Availability, validate planogram accuracy, and ensure front end and pharmacy on-hand balance accuracy.
- Manage front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods.
- Open and close the store when required, responsible for systems startup, cash handling, cashier duties, and readiness of floor and stockroom.
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
- Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes.
- Scan deliveries, handle vendor receipts, and correct inaccurate orders.
- Verify pharmacy shipments and complete postings for products received.
- Complete on-shelf availability processes and inventory counts.
- Maintain inventory compliance with state and local laws.
- Attend company-based trainings and complete all e-learning modules.
- Maintain a valid pharmacy license/certification as required by the state.
- Act as liaison between management and team, coach and develop capabilities.
- Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal) or one year of prior retail experience (external).
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- “Achieving expectations” rating on last performance review and no written disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months (internal only).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.
- Previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, or customer service associate.
- Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.
