Job Title: Bandsaw Cutter

Department: Meat

Reports To: Meat Department Lead

Position Summary: The Bandsaw Cutter operates bandsaw equipment to cut meat products accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict safety, sanitation, and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to machine safety protocols, and consistent productivity.

• Operate bandsaw equipment safely and in accordance with department procedures
• Cut meat products accurately based on specifications and customer demand
• Maintain sanitation of bandsaw equipment and surrounding work areas
• Monitor product quality and ensure proper portioning
• Support inventory flow and minimize product loss and shrink
• Follow all machine safety and supervision requirements
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
• Perform additional meat department duties as assigned

• Strictly follow safety procedures for bandsaw operation
• Maintain consistent productivity and cutting accuracy
• Demonstrate focus and awareness while operating machinery
• Communicate clearly with department leadership
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and department standards

• Previous experience operating bandsaw or similar equipment preferred
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and machine operation
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and focus

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift heavy meat products
• Ability to work in cold and refrigerated environments
• Ability to safely operate powered cutting equipment
