Position Summary:
Manage all sales functions within assigned territory maximizing sales and profits to meet company sales quotas within expense budget guidelines. Hire team, develop qualified sales personnel, to maximize company’s success within its marketplace in a professional and ethical manner.
Essential Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)
- Conduct sales activities to ensure that sales within the specific territory meet or exceed quota while remaining within budgeted expense parameters and maximizing profitability of territory. Build strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- Provides complete account coverage by conducting thorough planning, forecasting and communications.
- Establishes a thorough understanding of those markets in which Brewer competes such as acute care, primary care, long term care. Gains and demonstrates thorough knowledge of factors specifically impacting territory such as economic or competitive activities, etc.
- Prepares and submits required administrative paperwork such as expense reports, weekly activity reviews, territory reports, and sample account transfers, etc., in a timely fashion.
- Administers appropriate Brewer sales and marketing programs such as special marketing promotions and specific national account programs.
- Creates company awareness of specific market trends that currently affect sales representatives’ ability to sell Brewer products into their specific geographic marketplace. Identifies new opportunities for future participation by the company.
- Maintain up-to-date customer record files and performs other general administrative duties in accordance with company policies.
- Evaluate sales representative performance on a quarterly basis to provide direction. Identify, recommend placing marginal sales representation on developmental or probationary program to ensure best possible return to The Brewer Company.
- Review territory forecasts, account coverage and performance to ensure sales goals are met.
- Travel with each IMR sales representative quarterly to evaluate specific sales representative’s performance.
- Undertake and participate in projects in a national basis, where appropriate.
- The travel expectation for this position is 70% or 3.5 days per week.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ selling experience related to the Health Care industry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ direct sales management experience with direct report experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, reports, and professional journals.
- Ability to respond to inquiries, write reports, complete expense reports, business correspondence procedure manuals, and any other required paperwork.
