Join Genedata as a Sales Operations Analyst and help accelerate the pace of biopharma research through data‑driven insights and process automation.
Base Pay Range$85,000.00 / yr – $ / yr
Location & ReportingPosition located in Lexington, MA. The analyst reports to the Sales Operations Manager and works closely with Finance, IT, Legal, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Commission Management: Calculate sales commissions and lead initiatives to automate and streamline the commission process.
- Sales Forecast & CRM Data Management: Oversee the accuracy of sales forecasts, collaborate with the sales team for timely updates, and ensure CRM data integrity through regular audits and maintenance.
- Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to sales processes, guaranteeing efficiency and compliance.
- Report & Dashboard Management: Create and update CRM reports and dashboards to provide clear visibility into performance metrics.
- Sales Tools Leadership: Champion sales tools by updating user documentation, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing user support.
- Support & Assistance: Address inquiries from the sales team and other functions regarding tools and processes.
- Quality Assurance: Test new CRM functionalities before deployment to ensure they meet production standards.
- Educational Background: Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Sales Commission Expertise: Minimum of 2 years managing sales commission processes, interpreting compensation plans, and resolving discrepancies.
- Analytical
Skills:
Proficiency with numbers, reports, and sales analytics. - Operational
Skills:
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Personal Attributes: Structured, organized, accountable, efficient, proactive, highly communicative, and a strong team player.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Familiarity with commission software.
- Experience configuring dashboards in Power
BI. - Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Background in sales.
