Personal Risk Specialist

We are seeking a results‑driven outside sales professional focused on serving high net worth clients and expanding our Personal Risk Management practice.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and visit with high net worth individuals to understand their lifestyle, concerns and unique insurance needs, and provide consultative advice to tailor personal risk management solutions.
  • Achieve annualized new business sales goals within the target market.
  • Identify and develop lists of prospective centers of influence and lead sources that fall within the USI ONE Advantage® target group.
  • Penetrate assigned prospect targets using USI’s Engagement Platform with influencers such as lawyers, financial professionals, realtors and others serving the affluent segment.
  • Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect‑specific basis.
  • Develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies, and maintain periodic communications to optimize USI’s marketplace position.
  • Meet with external centers of influence to prospect, engage and provide value‑added service to their clients.
  • Build strong working relationships and gain the confidence of Commercial Lines and Employee Benefits production staff.
  • Establish trusted advisory relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Support cross‑selling strategies for both existing and new clients.
  • Participate in and, when necessary, lead meetings with existing and prospective clients.
  • Manage prospect data, develop prospect lists, and maintain activity records in USI’s CRM and sales tracking programs.
  • Prepare proposals, research, and present individualized insurance programs to prospective clients.
  • Be available for evening hours as required.
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high net worth or personal insurance sales/service.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in the personal lines insurance industry.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more of the time and meet with clients.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, and organized with a drive to achieve sales goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong knowledge of carriers and the personal insurance marketplace.
  • Commitment to the objectives of the Personal Insurance Practice and Regional Office.
  • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active property/casualty license required (or obtainable within 60 days).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $67,500 - $110,000
