• Provide expertise in placing accounts with carrier partners and facilitate outbound marketing for select accounts
• Manage a profitable book of business within a designated geographic territory
• Analyze submissions and make informed decisions based on risk characteristics and exposure analysis
• Oversee the new and renewal placement process, including negotiation with sales teams and preparation of proposals
• Assist agents and staff with carrier information and resolve questions related to applications or policies

• Experience in account management and insurance placement for commercial and specialty personal lines products
• Solid knowledge of underwriting concepts and servicing for excess/surplus coverages
• Demonstrated experience providing customer‑oriented solutions or service
• Required to maintain current, active license(s) status through continuing education and compliance with state regulations
• Proficiency in using PC software applications

• Experience with brokerage customer service, carrier placement, and policy processing
• Familiarity with market conditions and carrier appetites
• Ability to consult effectively with agents
