Job Summary (Primary Function)The Dermatology Therapeutic Specialist will consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets for the U.S. Incyte Dermatology business unit. This role is the primary customer contact and essential in driving demand, launching new medications, and executing national‑level strategies to maximize business opportunities.
Essential Functions Of The Job (Key Responsibilities)- Represent Incyte in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner.
- Provide feedback on marketing tools, tactics, and sales effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through total account management, covering product access, reimbursement, and on‑label medical questions.
- Execute national‑level strategies, deliver branded and disease‑state sales messages, and plan promotional programs.
- Demonstrate and communicate in‑depth knowledge of Incyte’s clinical data to external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain disease‑state knowledge and exemplary selling skills.
- Create, develop, and execute a strategic business plan that coordinates with regional counterparts and reflects local market and account‑specific knowledge.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other field‑based stakeholders to proactively address customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies for optimal success.
- Engage customers through in‑person or virtual meetings as requested, delivering scientific and clinically targeted messages to launch and grow current and future brands.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.

- Demonstrated ability to gain consistent access and develop strong professional relationships with providers.
- Documented history of successful product launches in a highly competitive market.
- A drive to achieve and operate with a high degree of integrity within compliance guidelines.
- Results‑orientated with a history of successful sales performance, as demonstrated through metrics and feedback.
- Extensive experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sales, with a focus on immunology or dermatology is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Travel required (various modes of transportation); frequency and overnight travel depend on territory.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong business planning acumen, highly organized with strong account management skills.
- Strong knowledge of dermatology patient access programs, market access, specialty pharmacies, and prior authorization initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
