Ready Pod maintains a fleet of factory-built, foldable, steel-framed homes, staged and ready for rapid deployment across the country, designed to serve workforce housing developers, disaster relief agencies, and hospitality operators who need quality housing on the ground faster than traditional construction can deliver. This role is responsible for putting that solution in front of the right decision-maker and converting the opportunity into a qualified meeting.
Therole
This role serves as the first point of contact a prospect has with Ready Pod, setting the tone for everything that follows. Outreach spans multiple channels: phone, email, Linked In, and others, and strong performers read each prospect and select the right channel and cadence accordingly. That judgment, more than any single tactic, separates top performers in this role.
The SDR conducts outbound prospecting and lead engagement across channels, including calls, email, Linked In, video outreach, event follow-up, and reactivation of dormant leads. Performance is tracked by channel, what works is scaled, what does not is adjusted quickly, and findings are shared with the broader team.
This role provides direct, front-line exposure to the product, the buyers, and the full deal cycle, with the opportunity to help shape the process that supports it. This is a foundational position on the sales team, the standard set here becomes the operating template as the team scales.

- Build a substantive pre-call profile beyond a name and number, identifying the likely decision-maker, project stage, and probable deal obstacles
- Apply that preparation to open with specificity, a generic first line signals a generic effort
- Execute coordinated outreach across calls, email, Linked In, and video so prospects are engaged through more than one channel
- Maintain a high daily volume of outbound calls; while not the only channel, it is the fastest and is a required activity
- Use Linked In as an active outreach tool, including contextual connection requests, direct messages, engagement with prospect activity, and monitoring of job changes and company announcements for timing signals
- Write concise, personalized emails to supplement the sequences provided by marketing; generic, automated-sounding messages are typically deleted unread
- Use video messages, voicemail drops, and other formats to re-engage accounts that have gone quiet
- Respond to inbound leads within minutes of assignment. First-touch speed is the primary driver of conversion, and this standard is non-negotiable
- Follow up persistently and on a defined schedule across channels; most meetings result from the fifth or sixth touch
- Systematically reactivate closed-lost and dormant accounts on a defined cadence. Buyer timelines shift, and a disqualified lead one quarter may be qualified the next
- Own post-event and webinar follow-up within a defined window to capture engagement while it remains active
- Conduct discovery calls to establish project scope, unit count, timeline, decision-making authority, and current obstacles
- Administer the Prospecting → Lead qualifying gate, distinguishing verified intent (vertical, channel, timeline, and…
