Agents are eating the economy, but it's still the early days. Token usage is increasing 2,500% year over year, agents token consumption is growing 7x faster than humans, and adoption of agentic systems is on the rise across professions (via Open Router). All signs point to these trends continuing, as agentic workloads become irreplaceable across software, cybersecurity, legal, finance, HR, sales, and science tasks.

Subconscious is an inference provider specifically designed to power long-running agents. For tasks that consume 200k+ tokens, our inference system delivers unparalleled speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency. As agents proliferate, Subconscious will be a provider in every agent stack.

Today we serve billions of tokens per day through our API. With your contributions, we'll serve trillions. For this role, success is measured on the pipeline you create and the users you drive to our API.

This is a growth role for a seller who wants to join a world class AI team. You'll get in on the ground floor with a front-row and drive how the technical product gets taken to market. You'll do research, sequencing, and follow-up, and a lot of it. Reps who are relentless about follow-up and coachable will learn faster here than almost anywhere else.

• Research and build lists of technical buyers like CTOs, VPs of Engineering, platform leads, AI engineers, and then find ways to connect with them.
• Write outbound that a CTO would actually read. You'll need to understand our product deeply enough to explain KV cache compression to an engineer.
• Run high-volume, high-quality sequences across email, Linked In, and calls.
• Qualify inbound interest, run discovery with founding-team backup, and hand off well-documented opportunities.
• Help build and iterate on our GTM machine: ICP refinement, messaging experiments, and agentic automations.

• 1-4 years of sales experience selling AI, dev tools, or infrastructure to developer or infrastructure buyers.
• Comfortable writing directly to VPs of Engineering in a way that's clear, personable, and authentically human.
• Technical enough to hold a credible conversation about our inference system.
• Relentless follow-up. You don't let a good conversation die on a single unanswered email.
• Coachable. You take feedback literally and implement it the same day.
• High bias toward action. You build lists and get moving over waiting.

• You have any background in engineering or coding.
• You are a former college athlete.

We are based in Boston, MA, and are in the office 5 days a week.

$75-85K base, $110-140K OTE with uncapped accelerators, plus meaningful equity.

We offer full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus unlimited PTO. We order Shy Bird on Wednesdays in the office.

Monthly allowance for sales experimentation (AI tools, creative marketing opportunities, events, etc.).
