Our 10-week US Summer Internship Program offers students an immersive learning experience with hands‑on work in areas across the organization. Interning with PTC provides students with the opportunity to work on high‑visibility and high impact projects. Interested in technology, business, or sales and looking to gain real‑world experience? You don’t need previous sales or tech experience. We’re looking for curious, motivated students who are excited to learn, contribute, and build new skills. As a Sales Intern at PTC, you’ll have the opportunity to support one of our exciting teams:
Digital Thread BDR – Help organizations connect their product data across the lifecycle with PTC’s cutting‑edge PLM, IoT, and AR solutions. Velocity BDR – Accelerate the adoption of our fast‑growing SaaS products, including cloud‑native CAD and collaboration tools.

• Gain hands‑on experience in technology sales and business development.
• Learn how to research and connect with potential customers.
• Develop your communication, relationship‑building, and sales skills.
• Work alongside PTC’s sales and marketing teams.
• Receive training, mentorship, and support from experienced team members.
• Gain exposure to Salesforce and other tools used by sales teams.
• Learn about PTC’s technology and how it helps customers solve real business challenges.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in sales, business, SaaS, or technology.
• A collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
• Experience through school, internships, part‑time jobs, clubs, volunteering, or customer‑facing roles is a plus, but not required.

At PTC, we believe that a strong internship program focused on growth and development, will turn the students of today into the highly skilled workforce of tomorrow. Each program has a unique structure, goals, and is designed to do just that. PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position.

Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the hourly range for this position to be between $25-$27. The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is not eligible for employment‑based immigration sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship from PTC.
